Plenty steam traps enjoy a long and rich history. Manufactured first in 1950, as Velan steam traps, they have remained the high quality product they first were. The only major change to the Velan steam trap came about in 1987, when the company was sold to Plenty Limited. Velan steam traps were then traded under the Plenty Steam Products name for 15 years until 2002, when it was reacquired by Velan Valves UK.

The VELAN® TSF Series steam trap is used for low capacity applications such as drip and tracing, and economically combines steam trap, check valve and strainer (with optional blow-off valve) in a small profile with a convenient 4-bolt cover for easy maintenance.
The VELAN® SF Series steam trap is used for intermediate capacity applications such as drip legs and steam separators, and economically combines steam trap, check valve and strainer (with optional blow-off valve) in a small profile with a convenient 6-bolt cover for easy maintenance.
The VELAN® SSF Series steam trap is used for large capacity applications such as drip legs and tank coils, and economically combines steam trap, check valve and strainer (with optional blow-off valve) in a small profile with a convenient 6-bolt cover for easy maintenance.
