In conjunction with EthosEnergy Group, we can offer the repair of steam turbine components for the Power Generation and Process industry throughout the world. Our main areas of expertise are the refurbishment of rotating blades, nozzles and diaphragms which have suffered from erosion or in service damage. Our methods of repair can be carried out either at our fully equipped workshop or at the customer’s site.
EthosEnergy’s work is carried out to Civil Aviation Authority Standards and they have a quality procedure for every single operation from unpacking of goods to inspection and weld procedures. This procedure allows for full traceability including which operators have worked on each component. All welding is to ASMI and European standards and each weld is x-rayed to ensure no deformities. The result of this rigorous quality procedure is that EthosEnergy has never had a weld/blade failure in over 30 years of business.
Unique to the industry is our ability to carry out refurbishment to Low Pressure last stages of rotating blades without removal of blades from the rotor disc. Approval for our services has been gained from the original manufacturers, providing future validation of our quality, workmanship and specialist skills. Reduction in downtime, flexibility to suit customer demands and extension of the component life ensures customer satisfaction and substantial cost savings.
We can offer services for steam turbine ranging from 5MW up to 1000MW for all major OEMs including: ABB, AEI, Alis Chalmers, Allen, Alstom, Ansaldo, Bellis & Morcom, BBC, CEM, Delaval , Elliott, English Electric, Franco Tosi, GE, GEC, LMZ, MAN, Mitsubishi, Parsons, Siemens, Thermodyn, Turbodyn, Westinghouse, Worthington.
